Brand identity developed for TAKÈ, a matcha brand based in Imphal, inspired by the cultural and botanical heritage of bamboo. Drawing influence from time spent in the tea regions of Shizuoka and Kyoto, the brand reflects a refined connection to traditional Japanese matcha craftsmanship. The identity was designed to embody the purity and elegance of matcha made from premium Japanese cultivars such as Okumidori, Tsuyuhikari, Samidori, and Asahi—leaves that are carefully shaded before harvest and slowly stone-ground to produce a vibrant green tea with layered umami and a smooth, lingering finish. The visual system translates this philosophy into a minimal, contemporary brand language that reflects both authenticity and modern refinement.
